The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to describe how the website is managed with regard to the processing of personal data of visitors who consult it. It is an information notice that is provided pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) to those who connect to the officinerecycle.com website and the pages linked to it. The information is provided only for the aforementioned site and not also for other external sites that may be consulted by the user through links. As a result of consultation of the site itself, personally identifiable data may be processed.

Purpose of Treatment

According to the needs expressed from time to time by the user who accesses the various sections of the Site (and subject to special rules and notices for individual operations involving the provision of specific personal data), the purposes of the processing of personal data, i.e. those provided directly by users through the completion of online forms or those acquired automatically through browsing, are indicated below:

(a) deliver and manage the various services offered;

  1. b) allow users to publish Contributions directly on the Site, or on sites managed independently by third parties with which agreements may have been reached to this effect, such as, by way of example but not limited to, social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.; the publication of Contributions could also take place together with a pseudonym (“nickname”) chosen by the user when registering on the Site, and possibly with the picture associated by the user with his/her nickname for which: i) the user will be solely responsible for any choice that prejudices the interests of third parties; ii) the user is not required to use personal data that would allow third parties to identify him/her but the user, through the Site, could also disseminate his/her own personal data if he/she has included them in his/her nickname, as well as the picture he/she may have associated with his/her profile.
  2. c) with the user’s consent and until revocation of the same, carry out marketing activities such as sending promotional and advertising material, including by e-mail, mms and sms;
  3. d) to respond to users’ requests in relation to products offered, advertising, or the Site;
  4. e) with the user’s consent, and until the user’s consent is revoked, carry out activities of comparison and combination, for the purpose of statistical profiling, of the user’s personal data.

User registration on the Site is not required for the provision of certain services offered. However, in order to process any requests from users regarding these services, they will be asked to provide personal data, which will be processed only for the relevant purposes and for the time strictly necessary.

Information security

All information collected on the site is stored and maintained in secure facilities that restrict access to authorized personnel only. The Web site is checked regularly for security breaches, and to ensure that all information collected is safe from those who intend to view it without authorization. Officine Recycle complies with all security measures described by applicable laws and regulations, and all appropriate measures in accordance with currently state-of-the-art criteria, to ensure and guarantee the confidentiality of users’ personal information, and to minimize, as far as possible, the dangers posed by unauthorized access, removal, loss, or damage to users’ personal information.

Legal basis for processing

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data for the purposes listed above is the consent expressed by the data subject through acceptance of the Cookie Policy, or the explicit and distinct consent freely expressed in the personal data collection forms that require it, or the legitimate interest of the data controller.

Disclosure of data to third parties

Personal Data may be brought to the attention of employees or collaborators of the Data Controller who, operating under the direct authority of the latter, process data and are appointed as internal data processors or system administrators and who will receive adequate operating instructions in this regard from the Data Controller; the same will be done – by the Data Processors appointed by the Data Controller – with respect to the employees or collaborators of the Data Processors.

Scope of communication or dissemination of users’ Personal Data

Personal Data will not be disclosed to third parties or disseminated, except in the latter case when the user has entered personal data when publishing content such as comments, articles, editorial contributions, etc.

Extra-EU Transfer of Users’ Personal Data

Personal Data may be transferred outside the EU to be stored on the servers of Electronic Platforms (e.g. Google). The transfer is put in place upon the conclusion of Standard Contractual Clauses with the providers of the servers and/or services entrusted to third parties, or verification of the registration of the Data Processor under the system called “Privacy Shield”.

Storage times

The Data Controller will process the Personal Data for a period of time not exceeding that necessary to achieve the purposes for which the Personal Data are processed, or for a longer period, for purposes permitted by law, and in any case deleted without undue delay.
You may at any time request the deletion of your account or your registration with the Site or request an interruption of the processing or revoke your consent, in the manner set forth herein.

The data subject may at any time exercise his/her rights as enshrined in Articles 15 to 22 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).  The data subject, regarding his or her personal data may exercise the right of access to verify the presence and content of the data, the right to have information regarding the source and origin of the data, the right to rectification/correction/supplementation, the right to oblivion/deletion for legitimate reasons, the right to limitation in time and quantity, the right to portability in an intelligible format, the right to object in whole or in part to the processing of the data for legitimate reasons, and the right to send complaints to the competent supervisory authority by addressing them directly.

Assignment of rights to Contributions and consent to use of image

By registering on the Site, the user:
A) declares that: i) all rights to the Contributions that he/she publishes on the Site on the occasion of his/her participation in the Initiative belong to the user, who remains solely responsible for any damage or action that the company may suffer as a result of the publication of the Contributions; ii) the Contributions published by the user do not contain any material that could hinder their publication, e.g. obscene, racist, defamatory, blasphemous, and are original, i.e. they do not infringe any intellectual and industrial property rights of third parties , nor any copyright, trademark, distinctive sign, patent, etc.;
B) authorizes to carry out a possible admissibility check on the Contributions, with the aim of excluding those that contain material that may be considered harmful to decorum, personal dignity or that are offensive, defamatory, obscene, indecent, insulting or that incite hatred, violence or dangerous behavior or that are offensive or incite to contravene legislative or regulatory provisions;
C) assigns to the Owner, free of charge and outright, any right to publish and use the Contributions for commercial purposes relating to its own products, on the websites owned by Officine Recycle and/or third parties, as well as on its own commercial products or in any other medium (including in modified and/or repurposed and/or figurative form), without limitation of time and space and without any opposition, for reproduction, publication and dissemination and for communication or performance through any medium deemed appropriate or necessary such as, but not limited to, TV, press, billboards, cinema, books, Internet and in any other form or medium of transmission, or performance, existing or future invention;
D) gives consent for the use of his or her published image, if any, and/or published contributions (in any of the contexts referred to in paragraph C) above), and for the entire duration of the Site, pursuant to Art. 96 of the Copyright Law.

Statistical analysis tools

This Site may make use of statistical analysis tools that may use cookies, which are text files that are stored on the User’s computer to allow analysis of how users use the Site.
